Fdesouche.com is the top counter-Jihad blog in Europe with thousands of visitors a day.  The well-produced, sexy and provocative, anti-politically correct blog, garners tens of thousands of visitors a day.  The new Socialist government of Francois Hollande has vowed to crack down on any internet media that may offend French sensibilities.

Now, the blog's editor Pierre Sautarel, has received a summons to appear before a magistrate, a Tribunal of Grande Instance de Paris.

There is a photo of the summons with words from the editor:

Over 1,200 confirmed vandalized and burned by Islamic activists

by Eric Dondero

It's become a New Years tradition in the largely Muslim suburbs surrounding Paris, and in increasingly Muslim population centers like Straussbourg and Marseilles.

From Libertarian Republican:

Russia news, ria.ru is publishing a front page photo of a burnt car in Paris, with Arabic graffiti, after a night of car burnings during New Years celebrations. ("Около 1,2 тыс автомобилей сгорело в новогоднюю ночь во Франции РИ") French officials have counted nearly 1,200 cars burnt to a crisp over New Years, most in heavily populated Muslim and North African immigrant suburbs of Paris and Straussbourg...

And this summation from CP

Interior Minister Manuel Valls said Tuesday that 1,193 vehicles were burned overnight around the country. Clashes between police and offenders in the New Year’s Eve took place in the Muslim majority districts in the city of Strasbourg and Mulhouse. About seven police officers were attacked New Years eve night.

Around 1,200 cars were burned by rioting Muslims on the New Year’s Eve in France, where the mass burning cars in the national holidays are kind of tradition among Muslim residents of the disadvantaged suburbs of immigrants.

More signs that the traditional book business may be suffering.

From techcrunch.com today:

Amazon may have been touting its record holiday sales season, but Barnes & Noble is now reporting the opposite: according to a report released today, the company’s retail businesses, which include the Barnes & Noble bookstores and BN.com, saw a 10.9 percent decrease in sales over the nine-week holiday period ending December 29, 2012. Nook sales and BN.com were also down.

The retail segment had revenues of $1.2 billion, and the company said the nearly 11 percent decline was attributable specifically to troubles in its brick-and-mortar stores and declining Nook sales.

But of course, it doesn't mean Americans are reading any less; just in a different format.

Late in the 2012 election, singer Nicki Minaj flirted with an endorsement of Republican Mitt Romney for President over Democrat Barack Obama. She sent out a Tweet saying Mitt was her "choice."  She sort-of retracted it a day later saying she was only foolin' around.

Payback's a bitch?  The far leftwing publication Huffington Post has now deemed her the "Worst Dressed" of the week ending, late December 2012.

What was she wearing?

"Skin-tight spandex, an overly revealing top (if we can even call it that) and bullet-proof shoulder pads"

Follow the links for the full attire.

Breaking News... There were very few 'No' votes on the Senate floor for the tax hike bill. But three of note, all Tea Party Republicans: Senator Mike Lee of Utah, Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky and prospective 2016 Republican Presidential candidate Senator Marco Rubio of Florida.

Michele Malkin Tweets:The Republicans have given up the no tax increases mantle. They now stand for what exactly?

While Erik Erickson of RedState Tweets:Tom Coburn, Ron Johnson, and Pat Toomey Should be Ashamed

You can see the full Senate roll call vote at Senate.gov. (Includes a few not voting for reasons of illness or retirement, DeMint, Kirk, or old age, Lautenberg of NJ).

Of note, of course, Tea Party Senator-elect Ted Cruz of Texas was not eligible to vote on the bill.

Naftali Bennett, a tech millionaire, is the the new chairman of HaBayit HaYehudi, the Jewish Home Party, which is surging in the polls, and looks to finish maybe second or third, behind Netanyahu's new Likud Party, and neck-and-neck with the Labor Party.

The Jewish Home Party is a former right-wing, religious party, and as such is part of Likud's ruling coalition. But, the Jewish Home Party has re-positioned itself as a more moderate or "modern" religious party, and is making an explicit appeal to Americans who have made aliyah (or, "return").

With regard to ethnic appeal, it would complement Likud (which appeals to sephardim and Russian Jews) and Labor (which appeals to Ashkenazim). The re-branding of the party as a more modern religious party, continuing to stress the importance of love of Israel and Jewish values, along with the charisma of its boyish leader, has enabled the Jewish Home Party to emerge as serious contender for leadership in the Knesset and to concern itself with a more complete agenda.

Some of this expanded agenda is hinted at in the following ad. The ad talks about a quality Jewish education, which as a religious party in the ruling coalition, has been one of its priorities. The ad also talks about universal service, which refers, on the one hand to the exemption given ultra-orthodox Jews (the haredim) and on the other hand to the exemption given Arab Israelis. Naftali Bennet, a lawyer, in addition to being a politician and a former very successful businessman, is also a soldier, having served in special forces units during the Second Lebanon War, and is currently a Major in the reserves.

From Eric Dondero:

In an interview with Dutch TV on Dec. 27, Party For Freedom (PVV) leader Geert Wilders sets priorities for the coming year. On the top of his list:

With the economic situation... everything concerning the economy, easing the burden on people, boosting the economy. And opposing the package from the two socialist parties who want to increase taxes instead of reducing them, and not touch development aid (welfare, government housing), who want to increase taxes to the European Union and so on.

[Also] that the Netherlands continue to be an independent country. We ensure that we don't become subordinate to Europe... we have to submit our budget to Brussels... so much is going to Brussels.

From Eric Dondero:

A report out of Italy, picked up by the French publication NovoPress, finds that "61% e Italiano, 39% straniero" (61% [of rapists} are Italian, 39% are foreigners).  They give a first hand account of one Italian woman recently rapd by a Muslim immigrant.

It was horrible. He was without teeth, the face disfigured with scars. This was from one of the latest victims of the violation in Milan, a businesswoman of 42 years, describing her attacker named Muhammed K., 32 years, an Iraqi illegal already convicted for assault and woundings. The week before, when she was going out to see a friend to make preparations for Christmas, Mohamed K. followed her, caught her in a public garden where she had tried to hide, threw her to the ground, he beat her and raped her in the place, while shouting "Dirty Italian bitch", before fleeing and stealing her purse. The local police were able to find him and arrest him - he still had the purse on him. The victim is in hospital. The study goes on to note that immigrants account for only 7% of the Italian population. So, the incidents of rape by immigrants is way out of proportion to their numbers in the population.

Right-of-center parties in Italy including People of Liberty, and Liga Nord (League of the North) oppose increasing immigration levels, especially from Muslim countries.

The UN International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea has ordered Ghana to release the Argentine ship Libertad, seized for non-payment of debt by the workers national socialist country of Argentina. The basis of the tribunal's decision is that the three-masted frigate is a "warship" and, therefore, exempt for seizure for non-payment of debt.

Elliot Management, which owns $600 million of the debt of that pathetic excuse for a country, had gotten a court order for impounding the ship.

Said, Cristina Kircher, President of Argentina, “As long as I’m president, you can take our frigate, but nobody is going to take the liberty, the sovereignty and dignity of this nation;" which is partially true, because the country has no dignity. As for liberty, Argentina demonstrates that where the state is free, the people are not.

As for why Argentina needs this frigate, we now know it is to suppress maintain order. Galloping inflation has impoverished the people of the country, resulting in widespread rioting and looting. Oh, and with her many facelifts, Cristina is starting to look-like our own Nancy Pelosi, or, as we like to refer to her, Stretch-face.
