From ZeeNews India
, Kangna Ranaut, `Queen` team support Delhi rape victim: "And I am sure that police and government will take right steps. And by right step, I do not mean girls staying at home after 7 p.m. The right step should be that a girl can walk on the road alone even at 3 a.m. She should decide how she wants to dress," he added.
Kangna wants the authorities to provide secure environment to women.
"I was traumatised... I was afraid and scarred for life with the details of the incident. I don`t thing anything could be same again," she said.
"Like any other common person, we are giving 50 percent of our income to the government and expecting them to protect us. People do expect answers and they (politicians) are answerable to us."
"We are praying for her (the rape victim who is critical in hospital). I hope she makes it because she has the right to live a normal life. We are going to support her in every possible way,"
Nah, no hypocrisy here... Move along... move along now

Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, who impresses us not only as intelligent but as intelligent in a mature kind of way, spoke against legalizing marijuana in an interview with Bill O'Reilly. She says legalizing marijuana sends the message that it's o.k. She then points out that different people have different reactions, perhaps intimating that for some people some forms of marijuana actually are o.k. She was also cool with medical marijuana.FoxNews
, "Miss Universe speaks out against legalizing Pot"
Here's what we, as libertarians, can say about marijuana or any other product or service, whether currently legal or illegal: caveat emptor ("let the buyer beware"). As libertarians we do not say legalizing anything means that it is o.k. We're not "nanny-staters." We also support freedom of association so that if an airlines wants to condition the employment of pilots on responsible use of intoxicants or total abstinence, which the liberals would call discrimination.Photo of Olivia Culpo, credit - RSVLTS.com

Former Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory was sworn in yesterday as Governor of North Carolina. McCrory is a tech-friendly pro-business Republican. NC has not had a Republican governor in 20 years. Both chambers of the legislature are also now controlled by Republicans.

Here’s a simple question: At what point do you know you’re a communist?
As a strongly principled Conservative/Libertarian, I feel like I could easily recognize other strongly principled Conservatives and Libertarians because their views fall similar to mine.
Using this logic, shouldn’t one communist be able to identify another communist? Better yet, wouldn’t someone who lived through Communism be able to identify a communist leader?
I think the answer is yes, and there is some frightening (only if you haven’t realized it yet) proof.
Recently an opinion article appeared in Pravda
, a Russian Newspaper, by a relatively unknown writer, Xavier Lerma.
Everything that Xavier said about America and Obama is true – well, mostly true.Recently, Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate society and he is ready to continue his lies of less taxes while he raises them. Obama has bailed out those businesses that voted for him and increased the debt to over 16 trillion with an ever increasing unemployment rate especially among blacks and other minorities.
He is a Communist without question promoting the Communist Manifesto without calling it so. How shrewd he is in America. His cult of personality mesmerizes those who cannot go beyond their ignorance. They will continue to follow him like those fools who still praise Lenin and Stalin in Russia. What about this isn’t true? Except for the ‘illiterate society’ comment, this paragraph expresses some of my feelings with the reelection of Obama to a tee.
Xavier gets history. He has learned from the past of the nation that he holds near and dear to his heart, and he is strongly against Russia committing those same mistakes twice.
Xavier knows that communism doesn’t work, nor does socialism. Xavier knows that low taxes are the way to go, and that faith, morals, and strong principles are the key to prosperity.
Obama and his administration not learning from history, but they are going in the direction of a “Soviet Plan”, something of which we know does not work. History tells us this. From the Editor: Chris Enloe is a young libertarian-conservative living in the Carolinas.

Hollywood Actor and part-time race car enthusiast Patrick Dempsey just bought the West Coast-based Tulley's coffee chain. There are 40 franchises in California and Washington State.
Dempsey of course, is know for his starring role in the "chic-magnet" series Grey's Anatomy.
According to WKYC
, one of Dempsey's main objectives was to "save jobs." The Seattle company had declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October. Approximately 500 workers are employed by the chain.
Have that Big Gay Wedding. Just keep it private. Why get the government involved?
Excerpted, Travis Rowley, Rhode Island, "Progressives' sham," Go/LocalProv/Politics
Ceremonies and receptions – have nothing to do with the government sanction of same-sex unions.
What has ever stopped gay people from hosting a wedding celebration in Newport?
The fact of the matter is that the case against gay marriage has nothing to do with outlawing homosexual rituals and celebrations. Despite what progressives would have people believe, nobody is in favor of having the FBI bust in to the Viking Hotel while two men (or women) take things to the next level.

West Virginia's Senator Joe Manchin is a Democrat.
, "'Buckwild' Stars Don't 'Represent The Entire State Of West Virginia ''I'm not representing anyone but myself,' Shae tells MTV News after a senator's call to cancel the new MTV series":
Yes, in just two short episodes, "Buckwild" has become a bit of a sensation, an unapologetically unrefined ode to the Mountain State and all its splendor. Part "Jackass," part "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," it may have some of West Virginia's elected officials up in arms, but we can't stop watching, even if we're not sure whether we're supposed to laugh or cry while we're doing so.Last month, West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin demanded that MTV cancel the series, saying the show is a "travesty" and that it "plays to ugly, inaccurate stereotypes about the people of West Virginia."
No Republican elected officials in the State have called for censorship of the series.
